This is the first post of 2012! Yeahhhh!!!!  Sorry for being away these days I hope I can keep this blog more up to date for you in this new year, I promise I will try!

I was in my researches today and I found the Editorial from Vogue Germany, february 2012. Julia Stegner looks so skinny just amazing in this photo shoot, lensed by Greg Kadel. Black and white pictures (something I just love), and Julia wears all white clothes pieces. Simple and beautiful  Hope you like, and feel the same inspirations that I felt!!

I just wanted to share with you my new leather jewelry collection. I am so into it, that makes me want even more and more!!!

“Rising Collection

The new collection Rising brings lightness and sophistication when adorns our body. Colors resemble the moonlight of an autumn … the darken leaves to a new season. The lace used refers to a past steeped in romance … perfect harmony that pervades a miss at the end.”   Hope you like it!

This week I had a hard work photographing both collection with my friend (and great model!) Jennifer Tyler , and we had a great results!! Nothing like a good red wine, some laughing and “zumba” songs to cheer up and enjoy!! But those pictures I’m showing later… surprise coming!

This is my first post about cooking with Luiza Ferreira! Yeahh hahaha

I thought it would be really nice to share with you what I have been doing at the kitchen, since now I have to do it to survive! rsrs Living in London helped me to grow up, take care of myself, and made me realize how I enjoy being at the kitchen trying different things.

So today it is all about fish.

You will need: (one person)

• Foil paper
• Fish filet – I made with salmon
• 5 sliced mushroom
• Half sliced onion
• One chopped garlic
• 1 table spoon of butter
• Salt
• Pepper
• Half cup of white wine
• Half lemon

1. Take a big piece of foil paper and put it on the table (shine side up!)
2. Cover the foil with the ingredients in this sequence: Butter – sliced onion – fish – salt – pepper – garlic – sliced mushrooms.
3. Then fold the foil edges cause you are going to add liquid on it.
4. Add the wine, and then squeeze the lemon on the top. Leave the lemon peel inside with all the rest.
5. Fold the foil over like a “fish bag”.
6. Put it on the grill to cook about 10 minutes and then change it to the oven, and cook for more 10 minutes. You can use just the grill if you want and let it cook for more less 18 minutes.
7. Take the bag. Smell it… and enjoy a wonderful fish made at home!

The fish look amazing and so delicious!  It is easy, no mess at the kitchen and you enjoy like eating in a restaurant! It is special! Great recipe to make when you have friends dinning with you!  Enjoy with a nice white wine. Perfect!

It seems the past few days I have been eating just cakes, but what can I do if they are so good?? Afternoon tea with friends it such a nice thing to have on weekends!

This cute and little cake shop is perfect for any occasion. Peggy Porschen Parlour is situated in London’s Belgravia, the most beautiful place inside London. She is widely known for her wedding cakes, that  can inspires anyone!  All her cakes look amazing and so tasty! Inside her pink cake boutique you can enjoy slices of cakes, cupcakes, different teas and coffees that are displayed on the window and counter . What make it so special? Every single detail! Even the decoration, table, chairs, and treats. Everything is so well done and amazingly gorgeous! ;) But now, imagine this place with Christmas decorations, ginger biscuits, and a cappuccino made specially for you with a cute bear face on it! Superb!

I have been fascinated with leather since I met Edward Griffiths couple of months ago. I always loved handmade art, especially  accessories and jewelry, but when I realized  that we can do in a different way, I fell in love again.

Edward Griffiths is an artist, a Freelance Designer… and his talent is probably manipulating leather  with style and creative energy. He worked some years ago for Fendi, Emanuel Ungaro, Cacharel, Carlos Miele, Hugo Boss, Nick Night and many others important designer inside the fashion world.

I have been working with Ed and I can tell his work is peculiar and exclusive. He has so much talent, creativity  and some times madness inside his mind, that works so well together!!

Last week we finished making a lovely bridal bouquet, all in white leather Camillias flowers! Amazing!! Handmade art with a special touch.

I’m trying to learn everything I can… Hope I can get some Edward special touch in the future! My first project is a leather hair jewelry. Calla Lily flowers with a bow in the end. Here is my bow prototype just finished today Really happy with the result.

Cath Kidston é uma designer britânica que conquistou o seu espaço com peças originais em estilo vintage. Começou sua história em uma pequena loja vendendo tecidos e papéis de parede com inspirações de sua infância. Com todo o seu talento desenvolveu suas próprias estampas e hoje sua marca é uma das mais influentes no Reino Unido.

Sua marca abrange todo o tipo de mercado, mas em pouca quantidade e exclusiva. Cama, mesa, banho, vestuário, acessórios, gifts, tecidos… um lugar perfeito para achar um presente! Quem não iria gostar?  Tudo com qualidade e um carinho envolvido.

Descobri Cath Kidston aqui em Londres pouco depois que cheguei. Ela me lembrou uma outra marca, Pip Studio que tem sede em Amsterdam na Holanda. Foi amor a primeira vista! Quando tenho uma oportunidade, a primeira coisa que penso é ir dar uma olhadinha nas novidades. Sou apaixonada pela linha casa… toalhas, roupa de cama, copos, louças e até cesta de pique nique! Dá para se perder no tempo e ficar horas lá dentro. As bolsas são as mais famosas no momento, e é difícil ver alguma menina sem.

Ah e me disseram que pelo site você pode comprar e entregam no Brasil! Então, não deixem de passar no site e conferir as coisas mais fofas que já vi! Nostalgia pura!

Genteee Londres é uma loucura!  A cidade não pára… é 24h 364 dias por ano (Fecham apenas no Natal!). Tem dias que você precisa de um respiro para começar tudo novamente! Fugir do frio e dos heavy showers é uma boa opção tbm depois que vc fica encharcada no meio da rua com duas malas, uma sem rodinha e outra com (mas que quebra no meio do trajeto), uma bolsa, uma máquina fotográfica e uma sombrinha! Ufa!

Uma ótima opção para quem está por aqui é quer passar o dia no “country side” e fugir um pouquinho dessa agitação é ir para Seven Sisters, uma cidadezinha bem pequena, 2 horas de Londres. Essa cidade é uma praia de pedra com Cliffs brancos e suas ondulações… uma visão inesquecível! Algo para apreciar e esquecer do mundo lá fora! Uma caminhada interessante é ir até Beachy Head Lighthouse, uma parte em que se encontra um farol que fica no topo da uma montanha, e é lá de cima que tudo fica perfeito. Som de gaivotas, vento, um belo pique nique, aviões antigos dando show e o sol batendo no mar… breathtaking

Uma dica: Para chegar lá, basta ir até Victoria Station e pegar um trem para Eastbourne e parar na estação de Lewes. Em Lewes pegue um trem para Seaford e já aproveite para passear na cidade que é uma gracinha. Em Seaford pegue o ônibus 13EX que vai até Seven Sisters. A viagem é longa, mas vale muita a pena!!

Hoje começou aqui em Londres uma das maiores feiras de moda, e mais popular do Reino Unido, a Pure London, que mostra sua 30th edição s/s 2012. A feira apresenta grandes marcas nas linhas directional and premium womenswear, assim como acessórios e sapatos, lidando com as últimas tendências e designs inovadores de moda feminina. Este evento de 3 dias (7, 8 e 9/08/2011) é direcionado a indústria da moda, assim como buyers, estudantes e jovens criativos.

Não podemos esquecer que o Brasil também estava presente!! ABIT, ANNAIVE, AUREA PRATES, BRAZILROXX, NATURAL COTTON COLOR marcaram presença!

Pure London tem também como um dos seus maiores apoios o WGSN, que deu palestras de trends confirmations s/s 2012 e Catwalk vision. As tendências discutidas para o verão 2012 foram o PRIMAL FUTURISM, CINEMATIC e JPEG GEN ( em um post anterior eu já tinha comentado um pouco sobre elas, quando fui na palestra de São Paulo).  Mas vamos refrescar a mente com palavras chaves!

Primal Futurism: minimalismo, tribal tailoring and draping, envista em textura ao invés de cores, clean lines and easy shapes, 70’s look, materiais naturais, square-cut silhouettes, tricôs com textura.

Cinematic: Surreal, dark mood, red carpet glamour, edge, curvas, vintage couture details, androgenia, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Cores baseadas em filmes antigos, lady like, inspiração nostálgica, mobília retrô,  flowing silhouettes. É muito importante lembrar que para esse tema o uso de lenços como outra utilidade é essencial! Crie e não tenha medo de ousar!

Jpeg Gen: Híbrido, humor e ironia, casualwear, Color Blocking, edge, simples e clássico, monocromia, influência em sport wear, estilo espontâneo x incompatível desordem, camadas, estruturas rígidas. Cores essenciais: Branco, cinza e preto.

Como estamos falando de tendência, percebi que o corte a laser está em todo o lugar! Vi peças lindas em seda, cetim e algodão. Designs diferenciados na barra de vestidos, e detalhes em mangas e tops. Vale a pena conferir e entrar nessa onda!
